Great space and comfortable beds. the location was perfect with local amenities nearby and a short drive to a large sandy beach. We loved having direct access to the coastal path and enjoyed making circular routes. There was even a pushchair accessible route out to a lighthouse. the on-site table tennis was a fun addition, although we didn't get a chance to use the croquet set.
The lack of maintenance to the property was disappointing, with peeling paint and damp patches. the bathroom was a bit snug, and the lack of a defined or fenced garden area made it less relaxing for pet owners and families with young children.

Enjoyed hiking nearby, especially when I got lost and wandered aimlessly for hours. The fireplace was a great touch, helped me feel like I was surviving in the wilderness.
Oh, what a delight it was to witness the charming building site in the garden, complete with early morning wake-up calls. Truly, a memorable experience.

I recently stayed at the Old Vicarage in Mortehoe for a few nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel had great space, comfortable beds, and was located in a perfect spot with local amenities such as pubs, takeaways, and a camp shop. It was just a short drive away from a large sandy beach and had direct access to the coastal path. I loved the endless options for circular routes and the pushchair accessible route to Bull Point lighthouse. On-site, there was even a table tennis table, and although I didn't have time, they also had croquet available. I was impressed with the location and the comfortable and homely feel of the hotel.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the Old Vicarage was a pleasant experience. The large garden was a perfect spot for families with young children and pets. We enjoyed the peaceful area and even had the opportunity to relax on the garden furniture on sunny days. The location was great, with local amenities nearby and a short drive to a beautiful sandy beach. We also had direct access to the coastal path, which allowed us to explore the area and create our own circular routes. The pushchair accessible route to Bull Point lighthouse was a nice addition. We had a lot of fun playing table tennis on-site and would have loved to try out the croquet if we had more time.
One minor drawback was the lack of maintenance in some areas of the house. We noticed peeling paint and damp patches, which could have been improved with regular upkeep.
